Hi, I'm Amelia :)
Hi, I'm Amelia :)
I am committed to creating functional, resilient spaces that support interconnected systems and address the diverse needs of clients and communities. My work is driven by the belief that the built environment should enhance and support the broader fabric of society, and I am passionate about leveraging my skills to contribute to meaningful and impactful projects.
Curate Studio is my new brain child that is a place for me to grow professionally. I'm not sure where it will take me yet but I'm excited to be here and I'm glad you're here too!
With dual Master’s degrees in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Michigan Taubman College, I explored the intersection of the built environment, agriculture, water health, and human rights. My professional journey includes valuable experiences at LOLA in Brooklyn, NY, focusing on climate resiliency, LAND Studio in Cleveland, OH, working on public art and spaces, and Archer & Buchanan Architecture, where I contributed to residential and institutional facilities.
As a Project Architect at Vocon, I lead projects from concept through construction, collaborating with a diverse team of architects, designers, and engineers to develop innovative and sustainable solutions. At my current role, I love managing complex projects, ensuring they align with both client expectations and project budgets, and driving strategic initiatives such as decarbonization efforts and office-wide sustainability programs.
